Guest Speaker First Lady Susan Gianforte

First Lady Susan Gianforte is the wife of Montana’s 25th governor, Greg Gianforte. 

Married since 1988, Governor and First Lady Gianforte are the proud parents of four children whom they raised in Bozeman hunting, fishing, rafting, climbing, skiing and backpacking on Montana’s public lands. They are also the loving grandparents. 

First Lady Gianforte’s initiatives are focused on expanding STEM education and early childhood literacy resources.

The Morgridge Family Foundation Provides an Additional $1 Million in Emergency Relief Funding

(Denver, CO)-- On Tuesday, May 5th, The Morgridge Family Foundation (MFF) announced an additional $1 million investment in COVID-19 emergency relief funding.  Over $80,000 was awarded through Greater Gallatin United Way (GGUW) and the SW MT COVID-19 Response Fund to 19 small agencies whose budgets are under $500,000.

In response to the crisis, two local organizations launch community response fund to address the pressing needs of individuals and the organizations serving them

Greater Gallatin United Way’s Community Investment process is underway.

Community volunteers and board members are reviewing grant applications and attending presentations, while CPAs evaluate the financials of each applicant.  Through a stringent process, these volunteers along with Greater Gallatin United Way Board of Directors decide how to invest the dollars raised through the annual campaign.
