Greater Gallatin United Way’s 2024-25 Community Impact Grant Applications Now Open
Everyone, everywhere has the opportunity to thrive.
Since 2009, Greater Gallatin United Way (GGUW) has been dedicated to investing in our community by addressing its most pressing issues. With over $5,000,000 invested in area non-profits and schools, GGUW continues to support and uplift our community. We are excited to announce that the 2024-2025 Community Impact Grant is now open for applications!
Grant Focus Areas
The Community Impact Grant is available to non-profits and schools that focus on programs aligning with GGUW’s Community Impact Areas:
Youth Success: Ensuring children have a strong start and foundation for success in school, work, and life.
Early Learning: Guaranteeing all children enter kindergarten ready to thrive.
Basic Needs: Improving the quality of life for all community members because more people’s basic needs are met.
Mental Health & Well-being: Enhancing our community’s health and resilience through a collective understanding of behavioral health and mental well-being.
Embracing the Collective Impact Model
GGUW embraces the Collective Impact Model, which harnesses the collaborative efforts of community partners to solve specific social problems. GGUW unites neighbors, teams of nonprofits, and local businesses to establish collaborative, long-term solutions that strengthen the fabric of our community for generations to come.
Grant Requirements
Application Period: June 5 – July 8 Grant Amounts: Maximum grant award is $15,000 Eligibility: 501(c)3 non-profits and MT OPI accredited school districts in Gallatin, Madison, Meagher, and Park counties. Proposals must align with one or more of GGUW’s 2024-2027 Goals, including measurable outcomes identified by GGUW.
*Please note: Applications that do not adhere to these requirements will be returned and may not be considered for funding.
Application Process
Interested applicants must speak with Ben Frentsos, Community Impact Director, about funding proposals and alignment with GGUW’s Collective Impact Model. Applicants will apply through GGUW’s grants portal after being formally invited.
