Our Annual Awards celebrate those who lead the way in making this vision a reality. These awards honor the exceptional individuals and organizations whose collective action and commitment drive positive change and strengthens our community.

Corporate Partner of the Year

The Corporate Partner of the Year award recognizes a company that exemplifies exceptional partnership and support through its culture and actions. This year’s honoree, Billion Auto Group, stands out as our largest corporate donor in GGUW history, contributing over a million dollars over the past 20 years. Their commitment extends to a dedicated gift for the kidsLINK Program, reflecting their understanding of its importance to their employees. Additionally, their employee-giving program bolsters our Community Impact Fund and supports our various programs.

Community Partner of the Year

The Community Partner of the Year award honors a partner with a strong mission who exemplifies the power of collaboration in building a stronger community. This year’s recipient, Bozeman School District, has been instrumental in providing space and support for out-of-school care programs, crucial for our families and children. Their willingness to collaborate, whether through initiating morning programs or supporting new initiatives like Jumpstart, underscores their dedication and partnership. A heartfelt thank you to Superintendent, Casey Bertram and the entire team for being exceptional kidsLINK partners.

kidsLINK Spirit Award

The kidsLINK Spirit Award recognizes a staff member who embodies dedication and passion for youth success. This year’s awardee, Matthew Pyfer, stands out for his exceptional commitment and creativity. Over his four years with kidsLINK, Matt has moved from support staff to Coordinator, and now leads the Middle School Summer Camp. His innovative approach, including developing the circuits curriculum for summer camps, and his energetic, enthusiastic demeanor have made him a favorite among the kids and a true embodiment of the spirit of living united.

Volunteer Spirit Award

The Volunteer Spirit Award honors an individual for their exceptional dedication, steadfast commitment, and selfless contributions as a volunteer and community supporter. This award celebrates those who have gone above and beyond to strengthen Greater Gallatin United Way and build a more vibrant community.

ERA Landmark  embodies this spirit by supporting local seniors with their community-focused initiative. What started as a fall leaf clean-up project has transformed into “Spring Cleaning with Meaning” post-COVID. In partnership with Befrienders, HRDC, and Gallatin Rest Home, ERA Landmark’s team visits seniors to tidy their gardens and leaves them with a cheerful potted plant.

Live United Award

First Security Bank receives the Live United Award for their extraordinary ability to bring people together and demonstrate unity. Their dedication to volunteering, investing, and advocating for a better tomorrow ignites change through kindness and collaboration, embodying the philosophy of living united.

First Security Bank not only provides extensive support to Greater Gallatin United Way but also makes a significant impact on the broader community. Their efforts include supporting kidsLINK, leading an employee giving campaign, and actively participating in our board and event committees. Their generosity spans numerous local organizations through donations, their Pay It Forward campaign, community displays, and volunteer work. Kalli, Tyler, Jenifer, and their team truly embody what it means to live united.
