GGUW is proud to be the local affiliate for Dolly Parton’s Imagination LIbrary, providing free books for children ages 0-5 in Park and Gallatin Counties.
At Greater Gallatin United Way, we believe that early literacy is the key to lifelong success. That’s why we’re proud to bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to Gallatin and Park Counties. This free program delivers a high-quality, age-appropriate book each month directly to your child’s home—from birth until their 5th birthday.
Imagination Library books inspire a love of reading and learning, helping prepare children for school and for life. It’s an investment in youth success and a thriving community, and it all starts with reading.
Register at birth and by the time your child starts kindergarten, they’ll have a home library of up to 60 books!

Children under age 5 who live in Gallatin or Park Counties.

The program is completely free to families, thanks to Greater Gallatin United Way, the State Treasurer’s Office, and community donors.

Each month, a carefully selected, high-quality book arrives in your mailbox. Just open and read!

If you do not live in Gallatin or Park counties. visit the Imagination Library website to see if it is available in your area.
If there’s no local partner in your area, you can sign up for notifications when the program becomes available.
It can take 8-12 weeks from registration to receive your first book, depending on when you sign up. After the first book, you’ll receive one every month until your child turns 5.

3. Click on the blue arrow next to the child’s name
4. Click on UPDATE ADDRESS
5. Enter the new address & Click on CHECK AVAILABILITY
7. Click CONFIRM ADDRESS
