At Greater Gallatin United Way, our work is grounded in one simple truth: real change takes all of us.
We partner with more than 25 local nonprofits, support dozens of community programs, and operate our own initiatives, like kidsLINK Out-of-School, the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, and community coalitions focused on early childhood, mental health, and basic needs. We lead where leadership is needed, fund where it matters most, and bring people together to solve problems no one can tackle alone.
And right now, with just a few weeks left in our “Leading the Way” campaign, we’re $20,000 away from reaching our $500,000 goal—and making an even greater impact for families across our region.
This campaign supports more than 11,000 people each year, including working parents who depend on afterschool care, kids who need a safe place to grow and learn, and neighbors navigating crisis or transition.
Like Melissa, a single mom who left an abusive relationship determined to build a better life for her children. While she worked toward a new career and steady housing, her kids had a safe place at kidsLINK—making friends, getting homework help, and just being kids. Today, Melissa has found stability, and her family is thriving. That’s the kind of transformation your support makes possible.
Every gift brings us closer. Every dollar helps another family.
This is the final stretch—and your support right now will help us keep showing up, leading, and making change that lasts.
Because when we come together, we do more than meet immediate needs—Together, we’re building a community where everyone has the chance to thrive.
