Leading the Way: GGUW’s 2024-25 Annual Campaign

Written by

As we launch the 2024-25 Annual Campaign, Greater Gallatin United Way invites you to lead the way in building a stronger, more resilient community. Our goal of raising $500,000 will support 28 essential nonprofits across Gallatin, Madison, Meagher, and Park counties, focusing on Basic Needs, Mental Health & Well-being, Early Learning, and Youth Success. Every contribution matters, and together, we can tackle the pressing challenges faced by working families and our community.

Montana’s critical issues require our collective action. Suicide rates here are nearly double the national average, with rural areas like Park County experiencing even higher rates. Effective mental health support is crucial to reducing these rates and providing essential resources. Additionally, the urgent need for affordable childcare and quality early education highlights the challenges families face. Many 4th graders are not proficient in reading, underscoring the importance of strong early learning programs.

United Way’s campaign harnesses the collective power of school partners, nonprofits, workplace supporters, and the broader community to address these urgent needs. By working together, we can create a robust support network where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
