Our Programs

GGUW’s programs tackle our community’s most urgent needs, from the kidsLINK Out-of-School Initiative and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to Disaster Relief and Community Impact Grants. YOUTH SUCCESS

kidsLINK Out-of-School

Greater Gallatin United Way’s kidsLINK Out-of-School Initiative and our partners are ensuring children and youth consistently get a strong start and have a solid foundation for success in school, work, and life.

kids attended afterschool and beforeschool programs at 11 area schools across the Greater Gallatin area.

in tuition assistance was awarded to families to ensure no child is left home alone and parents have access to affordable childcare.

EARLY LEARNING

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides free books to children ages birth to 5, fostering a love of reading from an early age. GGUW is the local partner for Gallatin and Park counties, providing more than 25,000 free books every year.

Every year, we partner with nonprofits in Greater Gallatin, providing funding and support to strengthen their services for those in need. We offer resources, guidance, and collaboration to ensure our partners succeed and create lasting community impact.

Disaster Relief

When our community faces its toughest challenges, GGUW is there. Whether it’s fire, flooding, or other disasters, GGUW stands ready to help people and businesses recover and rebuild, ensuring they get back on their feet swiftly and effectively.

in funds supported more than 400 businesses and individuals get back on their feet and recover from the Yellowstone River flood.

was jointly raised by the One Valley Community Foundation and Greater Gallatin United Way for the Southwest Montana COVID-19 Response Fund between March 2020 and February 2021 to provide COVID-19 relief for nonprofits.

was raised by Greater Gallatin United Way, the One Valley Community Foundation, and SWMT COAD to support 105 individuals and six organizations after the Bridger Foothills fire consumed over 7,000 acres.
