In our community, many parents struggle to find reliable, enriching out-of-school care for their children. With demanding work schedules, parents need assurance that their children are safe, engaged, and learning even outside of regular school hours. This need is particularly acute during school breaks and professional development days when traditional school programs are unavailable.

kidsLINK OUT-OF-SCHOOL INITIATIVE

Greater Gallatin United Way is committed to meeting this crucial need through our comprehensive out-of-school programs. We invest over $1,500,000 annually to support afterschool programming, ensuring that children have access to safe and enriching environments while their parents work.

kidsLINK Afterschool

Providing safe, enriching afterschool care at 12 different schools in Bozeman, Belgrade, Big Sky and throughout Greater Gallatin, that combines fun and learning to help kids thrive.

our kidsLINK Out-of-School Initiative provided over $20 million in economic value to our communities.

$415,000

in tuition assistance was awarded to families to ensure no child is left home alone and parents have access to affordable childcare.

1,623 KIDS

attended afterschool and beforeschool programs at 11 area schools across the Greater Gallatin area.

255 CHILDREN

attended summer camp, aimed at preventing learning loss during the break, ensuring kindergarten readiness, and enabling parents to engage in their work commitments.
