Partner Spotlight | OneHealth & ECC

Bighorn Valley Health Center (OneHealth/CHP), a valued Community Impact Partner of Greater Gallatin United Way, is leading the charge in strengthening families across Park County through the Early Childhood Coalition (ECC). Their work goes beyond providing healthcare services, offering vital support to families with young children (ages 0-5) through parent training, family events, and access to resources that build strong, healthy relationships. OneHealth/CHP is dedicated to fostering resilient families, ensuring that children have the foundation they need to thrive both now and in the future.

Understanding the critical importance of early childhood development, OneHealth/CHP’s efforts are focused on preventing and intervening in traumatic experiences, promoting positive childhood moments, and supporting healthy parent-child bonds. They help address core needs such as housing, food security, and emotional well-being, knowing that healthy families need more than just the absence of trauma—they need continuous support, education, and connections with others.

As a primary care organization, OneHealth/CHP recognizes that some of the most transformative work happens outside of clinic walls. Their leadership of the ECC, which includes over 20 local organizations, is focused on providing families with the tools they need to succeed. Their efforts are rooted in the collective impact model, uniting organizations around a common agenda to create long-lasting change.

OneHealth/CHP’s programming aligns closely with several of GGUW’s priority areas, including youth success, early learning, and behavioral health. Through partnerships with organizations like Links for Learning and Child Care Connections, OneHealth/CHP is enhancing early literacy, providing training to parents and educators, and offering mental health support to families. Additionally, their universal home visiting program will soon reach every family with an infant in Park County, providing essential early support.

By working with OneHealth/CHP, we are ensuring that families in Park County have access to the resources they need to thrive. Their leadership in early childhood care, behavioral health, and community health is helping to build a stronger, more connected community. Together, we are making a lasting impact, creating healthier families and laying the foundation for a bright future for every child.
