Partner Spotlight: Prospera

Greater Gallatin United Way is proud to partner with community-minded organizations like Prospera. Working together, we create opportunities for involvement and build a thriving community for all. The team at Prospera donates their time, skills, and network to strengthen and enhance our community’s resilience.

About Prospera

Prospera is the leading nonprofit organization advancing and inspiring diverse economies and resilient communities in southwest Montana. By helping people start and grow their businesses, Prospera strengthens the local economy. Their Monthly Member Meetups are signature networking events, bringing members together for light fare, drinks, and meaningful business connections.

Paul Reichert, Executive Director of Prospera, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating:

“Prospera is excited to support the United Way’s Day of Action and volunteer our time and rally the business community for the local school supply drive in August. As neighbors and non-profit colleagues, it’s a great way for us to give back and support our local United Way and our community.”

Day of Action: Making an Impact

On June 21st, 2024, Prospera closed its offices to participate in the annual Day of Action, focusing on supporting the kidsLINK afterschool program. The entire staff dedicated their time to volunteer efforts, and building numerous activity kits designed to enhance the learning and recreational experiences of children. These kits are vital for fostering creativity, engagement, and development among the youth in our community. The Day of Action was a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative spirit of our volunteers and the generous support from Prospera.

Supporting kidsLINK Afterschool Supplies Drive

In addition to building activity kits, Prospera is holding a supply drive to gather much-needed materials for the kidsLINK afterschool programs. They are asking their network of community members and local businesses to come together to donate supplies that will directly benefit the children in our program.

Upcoming Event: Parking Lot Party

Mark your calendars for September 18th, when Prospera, in collaboration with KLJ Engineering, Essential Health, and Greater Gallatin United Way, will host a parking lot party as part of their Monthly Member Meetups. This event promises to be an excellent opportunity for networking, community building, and celebrating the collective efforts of local businesses and nonprofits. For more information and updates on this event and more meetups, check out their website.

We are immensely grateful to Prospera and all our partners for their dedication and support of our community. Their efforts help us continue our mission of creating a thriving and resilient Greater Gallatin community.

Together, we can lead the way to a brighter future for all.
