Greater Gallatin United Way Announces Annual Campaign Kickoff Event Featuring Four-Time New York Times Best-Selling Author Kelly Corrigan

Bozeman, MT— August 26, 2025 — Greater Gallatin United Way (GGUW) will launch its 2025–26 Annual Campaign with a community kickoff breakfast on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Kimpton Armory Hotel in Bozeman. This year’s theme, “United is the Way,” highlights the power of collective action to address the region’s most pressing needs and build a thriving community for all.

This year’s campaign is our most ambitious yet, with a goal of raising $700,000 to strengthen programs and services across Gallatin, Madison, Meagher, and Park counties. With federal funding for afterschool and child care programs at risk, community support is more critical than ever. Every dollar raised through the Annual Campaign fuels local programs and nonprofit partners advancing early learning, youth success, mental health & well-being, and basic needs. These investments ensure children have safe, enriching places to grow, families can access affordable child care, individuals receive life-saving mental health resources, and neighbors in crisis get the support they need.

The kickoff event will feature keynote speaker Kelly Corrigan, four-time New York Times best-selling author, host of the PBS program Tell Me More with Kelly Corrigan, and celebrated storyteller known for her humor, honesty, and insight on the power of connection. Corrigan’s message of resilience and hope reflects GGUW’s vision of bringing people together to create lasting change.

“United is the Way is more than a campaign theme, it’s a call to action,” said Kimberly Hall, President/CEO of Greater Gallatin United Way. “This is our most ambitious campaign yet, reflecting both the urgency of the moment and the opportunity before us. With federal funding hanging in the balance, it will take all of us coming together to invest in solutions that shape the future of our region and ensure every family has the chance to live, work, and thrive here.”

The kickoff will also celebrate the Community Impact Awards, recognizing local individuals, businesses, and organizations making a difference through service, leadership, and philanthropy.
