Greater Gallatin United Way (GGUW) and the Gallatin Early Childhood Community Council (ECCC) are excited to host a week full of fun, learning, and celebration for young children, their families, and the educators who support them!

The Week of the Young Child (WOYC) is an annual celebration that highlights the importance of early learning, young children, their families, and the communities that support them. It’s a week dedicated to honoring the people who make a difference in young children’s lives and recognizing the importance of high-quality early childhood experiences.
WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD CARNIVAL
Join us as we kick off the Week of the Young Child with a FREE family carnival! Enjoy a morning of games, crafts, face painting, a bounce house, and activities designed for children ages 0-8. This event is all about celebrating early childhood and family connection.

WOTYC Kick-off Carnival
10am-1pm at Emily Dickinson Elementary. Enjoy a FREE family fun event with a bounce house, face paint, and family activities.

Museum of the Rockies and Family Outreach Early Intervention
Free developmental assessments available. Sign up with Family Outreach (406-558-3404) and receive FREE museum entry that day.
Jump Time
Two jumpers for the price of one (equal or lesser value) for 3 years and older.
Belgrade Community Library
10:15 AM | Get Up & Move Zumba (kids 2-6 and their caregivers & siblings). Please RSVP for the parenting classes and kid-activities at belgrademt.gov//adults.
Bozeman Hot Springs
APRIL 7-11 | 6 AM – 4 PM
One child (ages 0-13) swims FREE with one paying adult.
Belgrade Community Library
FREE Workshop w/Flora McCormick: “Overview of Positive Discipline” | 12 PM – 1 PM | Learn key strategies for effective parenting and positive discipline. Free playtime and activities will be available for the children of attendees during the workshop.
*Please note that staff are unable to change diapers or provide restroom assistance (but can text caregivers as needed), so please plan accordingly.

10 AM – 11 AM | Story Mill Community Center | Drop-in free play for infants and toddlers. Crafts, balance bikes, space to run and play, and more. Free in celebration of WOTYC!
