Celebrating the 2026 Early Childhood Champions Making a Difference Across Our Communities
Every day, early childhood educators and child care providers do far more than care for children.
They comfort toddlers through hard mornings. Spark curiosity through play. Build confidence, emotional skills, and a love of learning that lasts long after children leave their classrooms.
They also make it possible for working families to thrive.
During Provider Appreciation Day and Teacher Appreciation Week, Greater Gallatin United Way proudly recognized the remarkable educators, child care providers, and early childhood leaders shaping brighter futures for children across Gallatin, Madison, Meagher, and Park counties through our 2026 Early Childhood Champion Awards.
“These individuals are the backbone of strong communities and working families,” said Tori Director of Early Learning at Greater Gallatin United Way. “Their work goes far beyond the classroom. They nurture confidence, foster emotional well-being, and help children build the foundation for lifelong success. We are honored to celebrate these incredible champions.”

Why This Work Matters
Behind every thriving child is a caring adult who believed in them. Across our region, early childhood educators and providers are helping children build social skills, confidence, resilience, and a strong foundation for lifelong success, while also making it possible for parents to work and communities to grow.
Through Child Connect, Greater Gallatin United Way is working to strengthen the child care system by supporting providers, increasing access for families, and connecting communities through resources like Kinside.
“Supporting child care means supporting working families, local employers, and the future of our communities,” shared Tori. “These award winners represent the very best of early childhood education and the tremendous impact providers make every single day.”
