Community Impact
We empower donors, volunteers, businesses, governments, nonprofits, and community groups to invest in neighbors to improve the quality of life for everyone here. Gallatin, Madison, Meagher, and Park Counties. Working together, we identify the community’s most critical needs in the following four impact areas and implement collaborative, innovative solutions to improve lives.

in Greater Gallatin are not proficient in reading.

At Greater Gallatin United Way, our impact extends far beyond numbers; it’s about the lives we touch, the communities we strengthen, and the futures we shape. Through collaborative efforts and strategic initiatives, we’re creating lasting change that paves the way for individuals, families, and the entire community to thrive.
IN FUNDS
supported more than 400 businesses and individuals get back on their feet and recover from the Yellowstone River flood.
FREE BOOKS
were provided to families through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
KIDS
attended afterschool and beforeschool programs at 11 area schools across the Greater Gallatin area.
TUITION ASSISTANCE
was awarded to families to ensure no child is left home alone and parents have access to affordable childcare.

Here at Greater Gallatin United Way, we are dedicated to ensuring our students succeed, our working families gain financial security, and all of our neighbors have their basic needs met, and mental health and well-being resources available. Together, we are stepping up to actively address the critical issues facing our community and we are going the extra mile to make sure our residents have the support they need. In Greater Gallatin we genuinely care for one another.

A letter from our CEO
This report highlights the remarkable achievements we’ve accomplished together over the past year. It is a testament to the power of community, compassion, and a shared commitment to building a brighter future for all.
Our capacity to fulfill Greater Gallatin United Way’s (GGUW) mission lies in our ability to evolve alongside the shifting needs of our community. This year, our focus has taken a purposeful turn, with key priorities aligning around three strategic pillars: basic needs, youth success, and early learning, all underscored by a holistic approach to mental health and well-being. By addressing these foundational elements, we aim not only to respond to immediate challenges but to foster enduring growth and resilience. This strategic pivot reflects our unwavering commitment to nurturing a community that stands united in the face of adversity and thrives among opportunity.
The expansion of GGUW’s kidsLINK Out-of-School Intiative is our commitment to youth success. Recognizing a crucial need and our ability to fill the gap, this summer we extended the program to Big Sky and Bozeman. Serving more than 2,000 children, this initiative has left a lasting impact on our community. Beyond the numbers, it has provided an affordable, safe, educational, and fun place for children to go before and after school, so parents can work. Because of you, our community is stronger, and families are equipped with the tools they need to be successful.
We can’t more forward without acknowledging the significant challenges over the past year, and yet have reinforced our commitment to our mission and the communities we serve. Thanks to your support we can respond quickly, with quality, ensuring our vital programs and initiatives are reaching those who need us most.
